I Visited This Community
Lamplight of Fort Myers was a good place. I liked it and thought my dad would like it. The atmosphere was good overall. The room was kind of homey, and I know if he moved in there, he would be comfortable. The lady I spoke with was very nice. The dining area was nice and had a little menu. It seemed to be a good value for the money. Maybe they can have a work center for somebody who wants to do crafts or a little area for the men.

I Visited This Community
Lamplight was a good facility, the maintenance was up to date, and the rooms were bigger. It was a bigger, sprawling facility, so it could be a problem for people with mobility issues. The staff seemed friendly and very nice. It was older, had lots of garden spaces where you can sit, and was very well taken care of, which was very nice. However, I didn’t feel as comfortable there. The location was OK. It was farther north and quite out of the way.

Lamplight of Fort Myers was pretty nice. It was an older place but well maintained. The personnel were very nice. It looked like it would be a decent place.

I Visited This Community
I would not recommend Lamplight of Fort Myers. It had a depressing and not inviting environment. It almost looked like a cafeteria instead of a restaurant, and they did not have a lot of areas for the residents to do activities, no craft room or a library. The rooms were really small with just a bed, a chair, and a little tiny bathroom. The staff who assisted me was very unorganized and there weren't a lot of staff members, which kind of scared me. I did not feel comfortable there.
