Description of Mease Life
Mease Manor is an assisted and independent living community offering 200 spacious studio, efficiency and one-bedroom apartments just a short stroll from the scenic waterfront and historic downtown area of Dunedin. Seniors can continue to enjoy each day as they wish while receiving assistance with the activities of daily living, such as personal care and medication assistance. Licensed nursing staff is available 24/7 to attend to the medical needs of residents and a doctor's office and clinic service are on-site if required.
Residents can take part in a wide range of social activities and wellness programs to remain mentally and physically active, including exercise classes, card games, art courses and off-site excursions. Three nutritious meals are served daily in the restaurant-style dining room, and menus are varied to accommodate any dietary needs. Mease Manor provides a transportation service for residents to attend group shopping trips and outings to local restaurants.

I visited this facility
I liked Mease Manor very much. It was very clean and everybody was very nice. The rooms were excellent and very spacious. The lobby was beautiful. They're putting in a pool now, but most of the activities are indoors. The staff was very pleasant. They have a huge porch as part of everybody's apartment. They have a nice courtyard. I have a friend that lives there and she's very happy with it. Everybody's pretty much on their own.

I visited this facility
The location of Mease Manor appealed to me because it was near Dunedin and the shops. It was built more like a hotel, where you have your room and take an elevator to the big lobby. They were redoing everything in the building and upgrading everything by putting in new carpeting and furniture. The dining area was very nice. They had a library and nice porches on each apartment. They are now getting ready to put in a pool and a bistro. They had just about everything you can think of that would appeal to anyone staying there. I was impressed with it.

I visited this facility
Mease Manor was fine. When I toured it, it was a brand new place. It was a little bit too pricey for me, but it was very nice and clean. It filled up before it even opened. I liked the rooms. The staff I met was fine and nice. The place was very clean and open. They had a large open area for the residents to walk around and move around.
