1 Assisted Living Community in Dania, Florida

My husband has Alzheimer's, and he is in Willow Manor Retirement Home (The Residence at Dania Beach). It's assisted living, so he's in the wrong place. It's clean and very well kept. I haven't eaten there, but he said the food is good. However, they lose his clothes and he's unshaven. They have activities all day every day, like bingo, church, TV, games, and music. They have a nice courtyard. It's clean and smells good, so it's nice for assisted living. The rooms are nice and clean. They have a bathroom and closet in each one of the rooms. It's locked down but you can come and go as you please. Someone has to buzz you in and out, though. You can't just walk in off the street. It's not bad at all, but it's not the right place for my husband as he can't participate in anything except for the dancing.
