It is a beautiful brand new ranch-style home in a lovely Shelton neighborhood for just 7 seniors. We are all about bringing joy to our seniors with memory care issues. It is Just Like Home. It is their home. Everyone has their own room and bathroom. Shared living room, sunny den, kitchen, large deck on an acre of property. Come for a tour and stay for lunch. </p>

<p>If you are looking for an intimate home setting for your loved one, and you do not want them to be lost in a large facility, big box place, you have found their home. We are a regular home in a lovely neighborhood just like your loved one is used to. We provide everything-from furnishings to linens, no hassle to move furniture. Just bring your loved one's clothes and toiletries and move right in.</p>

<p>The home is lovely, yet it is the care that you will love. Two caregivers hand-picked to work with your loved ones. trained in memory care issues. We cater to you and your family-food wise and fun wise. With only 7 residents you have the attention of the caregivers, house manager and owner directly. There is a local geriatric medical group that comes to the home if you chose to use them. We make it easy on you and your family member. </p>

<p>If you need financial help while the family house is being sold, we can do that too.  We understand that your loved one many not be safe anymore in their home and they need to move NOW. NOW it is-we will happily have them move in with us while you prepare and sell their home. We can wait to get paid. Ask Deirdre about the program, it has helped many make the decision easy. </p>

<p>This home was designed for built with a conviction to provide seniors with memory care issues with a better way of living. We are committed to do just that in an intimate, home-setting. <p>Just Like Home's Dogwood Home Specializes in Memory Care. Whatever stage of memory loss your senior may be experiencing, rest-assured that our caregivers are well-trained in memory issues and are extremely warm, embracing, loving, patient and kind. Your senior can age-in-place at the Dogwood Residential Memory Care Home-as we provide 24-hour care and assistance with eating, dressing, medicine, bathing, personal hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and daily interaction with engaging activities. We offer a personal touch to each residents needs and work with the senior, their family members and health practitioners to create the right plan of care for each resident. We care for people with incontinence and walkers, too.</p>

<p>Our community is truly a family, consisting of six seniors who live in private, furnished rooms with private bathrooms. This allows for a peaceful family environment. In our custom-built home, each senior has a private bedroom that is tastefully decorated and appointed with an adjustable bed, as well as a large bathroom with a roll-in stepless shower. We even have a walk-in whirlpool tub with a seat for those who enjoy a good therapeutic soak. The formal living room has a piano for sing-a-longs and cozy fireplace. Our dining room is intimate, where guests are encouraged to break bread with us. A beautiful, sun-drenched den is where the seniors congregate, do arts and crafts, puzzles, brain games, daily exercise and watch movies together, and more. We bring in hairdressers and there is a local medical group who make house calls as well. We welcome anytime. This is your loved ones home. You will have the freedom and access to visit anytime that you would like. We welcome you to come and enjoy a meal with your loved one.</p>
