Wind Crest is huge, like a big university campus. It's gorgeous and has beautiful landscaping. The buildings are beautifully maintained with great views of the mountains. My mom is very happy with it. She has a lovely, clean apartment with mountain views. They have eight large buildings and numerous restaurants. The staff has been great. When my mom had several medical issues, they've been really responsive. They have a bank on-site and a whole medical facility. It's one of the better ones in the Denver area. They have gyms and swimming pools. The value is excellent.

Wind Crest is a beautiful place. The apartments are brand new. We like that you can own your own apartment there. My interaction with the staff was excellent. We went by the pool and they had an exercise class going on as well.

I visited Vi at Highlands Ranch. The rooms and layout were nice. They had lectures and clubs for the residents, a library, an exercise room with trainers and exercise classes. They had a full range of activities that a CCRC would have. The staff was pleasant, and the place was clean and well maintained. The dining area was absolutely lovely.

We're going to move into Wind Crest. They've got everything. It is a full-service retirement community. Unfortunately, there are no available units left. They're all sold out. It has all levels. We had lunch with another couple that was a resident there for several years in one of the seven restaurants and it was fine. There's a full medical clinic on campus. They have every kind of service you could want. In fact, you wouldn't even have to have a car if you didn't want to. It's a fantastic place. The building isn't complete yet.

Vi at Highlands Ranch is fantastic, but it's way too expensive. It's got the highest level of senior care facilities. They offer everything. You don't even have to park your cars. It's valet parking. It's the ultimate in retirement living. They've got all the levels through memory care. We were only there for about an hour and it appeared that the residents were just fine.

Windcrest has different size apartments, including studios, 1-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms, and 3-bedrooms. I chose the 2-bedroom apartments, they were exquisite, and I chose a new building that will be done in May. That is when I'm moving out there. It was absolutely gorgeous, I need a lot of doctors, and they have practically every doctor on campus. I only have to go off campus for two physicians. Other doctors come to the campus. They have six different restaurants that I can choose from. It will be a big community when it's done, and it's a thriving community. They have a beautiful theater where they show movies every night, and they have a special room for poker games, Bridge, and a fitness center. It's a buy-in, but the monthly fee was substantially less than other places.
