Parkwood Estates was nice, but they're way out of our price range. The staff was wonderful and friendly. They do arts and crafts and puzzles, and they have an open kitchen for all residents to use. Also, it wasn't enough square footage for my friend, as far as the apartment went. It's a very, very nice senior living facility, and the grounds were beautiful.

Parkwood Estates was very pleasant, clean, friendly, very organized, and they had a lot of activities. The lunch we had was good. There was a lot of bubbly conversation going on and the people seemed very happy. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. They had a bus to take people places, a little beauty salon, cards, puzzles, and board games. The staff was very friendly, very pleasant, very helpful, and answered questions that we had. It's independent living, so people can come and go. It's almost like an apartment. It was a little older outside, but it was clean and well kept, and the rooms were nice.

My brother moved into Parkwood Estates. He has a studio apartment and they supply three meals a day, clean once a week, and do his linens every other week. They provide service to pick up and do laundry for the residents. They also have a physical therapist and a small gym in the facility, a small general store, a salon, and a barber shop. It just offers all the things that I felt we needed for my brother, and on top of that, it offers a social life for people. So far, he has no complaints. They have activities every week and my brother really enjoys the food. The facility isn't perfect, but it's excellent.

My sister has gone into Parkwood Estates. The staff is very professional and compassionate. Lots of their activities are in-house but there are options to get out. They're a nice variety of activities. The room is well-kept, roomy, adequate, and it will meet my sister's needs. They have a library, a game room, and an entertainment area. They have guest speakers come in, and they do church services in the property. One nice amenity they provide is transportation. They have on property van to provide transportation to doctor's appointments.

We moved my mom at Parkwood Estates. It's a nice place and not too large, and the people are incredibly friendly. It's well-kept, they have activities all day and they provide 3 meals. It's just a nicely self-contained retirement home, plus the location is good. They have church services, they have a shuttle to take the residents to the grocery store 2 to 3 times a week and then you can make appointments or book a trip for other things. They have a staff come and clean once a week and they have a linen service. We ate there, it was just a salad but they give you choices and it was pretty well-balanced. And the dining room is really nice.

My visit to Parkwood Estates was a good experience, but it was not what we were looking for. Were looking for assisted living, and they did not offer that. They were fine. They have a set of activities, and housekeeping was included. The staff appeared to be very good, the person who gave us the tour was very helpful, and we also spent some time discussing things with the director.
