My husband needed assisted living after a stroke-like episode to regain his balance and ability to function close to independently. This is the third time he has been in an assisted facility and it's the only time I've chosen to write a review. He is happy and well cared for - he enjoys hanging out with the staff and residents in the main room and they are very attentive. Red Hawk feels like a home and family because it is. In larger facilities clients may be left in their rooms and alone most of the time. They may struggle to find their way back to their room so they just stay put. He is cognitively impaired from strokes but thrives in this environment.

Bonaventure Senior Living - Castle Rock has a really nice layout. It's a mile from my house, the doctors are right across the street, and the vets are down a block. Unfortunately their sales people are extremely high pressure, which is a negative. The rooms were nice, and I had no issue with that, but what I was looking for was long-term security. They had nice dining areas. I did not taste the food, but I was there for happy hour before dinner, and they took me right through the middle of the people. I was able to talk to them, and they said the food was great. Everybody seemed very happy. It's fairly new. It's only been there four or five years at most. The staff was very friendly, but very pushy. It was so close to home, and I wouldn't have to change doctors or anything, but it was the financing that I objected to. It was very nice and very clean.

My mom is in here and so far, so good. She has been there for three weeks and I have no complaints so far. It's a newer building and it's also small. My first impression of the people is that they're very nice. My mom is in a 1-bedroom apartment.

My aunt moved in, and so far, the experience has been super positive. Everybody there is friendly, it's clean, nice, and it has recently been remodeled. Everybody has been very attentive and very professional. They have lots of common area with TVs, a small kitchenette, there's a nice backyard where people can sit, and a nice eating area as well. She's in a private room with a shared bathroom.
