Everybody was very nice at Brookdale Brookhurst. It's a nice facility, and I was pleased with everything that they showed me. The staff member was very nice, very pleasant, very helpful, and answered all my questions. I looked at the studios and apartments, and they had various activities for their residents.

Brookdale Brookhurst was the most affordable of all the places I visited and had very large bedrooms. I looked at a lare one-bedroom that was very nicely appointed with large walk-in closets and was only going to cost around $2,500. It was a fairly active community, but not as active as I would like, and there wasn’t as large a population there. The staff was very nice and kind. The hallways were really wide, and they had large sitting areas all throughout, so you don’t feel cramped or anything. It was nicely appointed, nicely set up, and I really liked the fact that it was the least expensive one. The grounds were beautiful. I didn’t see a lot of residents, but the ones I saw were nice. I also liked the way that things were spaced out.
