Nursing Homes Community in San Ramon, California

The rooms are average size, the service is bad, the food is edible, the staff changes every other month, they complain about the low wages to the residents. My Mom has lived there for 3 years, she has resisted leaving even though the elevator goes down every 2 months or so, down for a month at a time, this time the elevator has been down for 9 weeks, she spends the whole time in her room because she can't walk the stairs, we are looking for a new facility, she has finally had enough of Ivy Park San Ramon, I can't recommend it.

Brookdale San Ramon was a very nice facility, but it was on a steeper terrain piece of property, so there were quite a few steps getting in and out of there. The people we met were very nice and very accommodating. The units in the newer section were nicer than the older section. They had nice facilities like a salon where you can do your nails and hair. It was a little smaller and a little more intimate and I liked that.
