My wife and I are both residents of Paradise Village and we're quite satisfied with it. There's no problem. The staff is prompt, they're fine. The apartment we have is also fine, the amenities are all very good. The activities are a little bit on the limited side because we have to keep things down, but they're still adequate and more than we can do. The food is quite good. I've looked at a number of other places, but this seemed to have a better value.

My mother will be moving into Paradise Village. They offer a lot of good things. There's independent, dependent and memory care there, and they have a 10% military discount. She's going to get a room that is just under 1000 square feet. They have a pool, a state-of-the-art gym, walking paths, putting green course, transportation from National City to East Lake or La Jolla for some of her doctors, and they will take you to Coronado as a group if you want to go on walks. The facility is cleaner, roomier, and had more activities than other places. They have underground parking, storage downstairs, a lot more opportunities for her to be happy, bible study, Catholic mass, and they will take her to her church in Chula Vista or in Mission Valley. The staff during the tour was fabulous. The facility was stellar.

My mom goes to exercise class every day and they also watch movies. One thing that really touched my heart was the guy who did the tour. The day that I was coming in to sign the contract, he was in there painting the room himself. He said he was supposed to be off that day, but he wanted to make sure that everything was good for my mom.

I visited this facilityReview of Paradise Village

I looked at the memory care unit at Paradise Village. I was very impressed with the whole facility. The staff member was very nice, very helpful, explained everything nicely to me, and was very friendly, almost like she was my next door neighbor. The dining area looked very clean and very nice. They were doing some drawing and some painting when I was there. It was a really a good place.

My dad stayed at Paradise Village. It's beautiful, and very nicely laid out. They have restaurants, a pool, and recreation. Everybody seemed very friendly and helpful. He uses the gym and does a lot of physical therapy. He's happy with the food, and the restaurant looked very nice. He's definitely getting the care he needs.
