Westmont of Brentwood looked nice, but after reviewing the memory care facility, it was depressing and my wife had not progressed to the point where she would accept that or be happy there at all. My wife only has memory problems at this point, no physical needs. I would consider it when she progresses in her dementia. The rooms were small and a number of them didn't have showers. It's very confining.

I visited Westmont. The staff was very accommodating, very friendly, and very informative. They really took the time and answered all my questions. There was a very nice feeling at the facility.

I liked Westmont of Brentwood. It was community living with more people so it would be much better than looking at the same sick people every day in a three- or four-bedroom house. The staff was very nice. I don't like the location because I have a daughter who lives over in the Peninsula, and for her to get there is about a two-hour drive, but the grounds were fine. The rooms were very nice, clean, and good.

Westmont of Brentwood's facilities are lovely, and its amenities are great. They do light housekeeping, and my parents get their meals there. My mom gets medicine from the med staff. They are happy with their apartment, facility décor, and the meals.

We moved my mom to Westmont of Brentwood on July 29. She's in assisted living and has a very nice apartment. It's larger than what she had before so all of her stuff fits. She likes it there, but she's not crazy about the food. Everybody there is just wonderful, great and helpful. She has people helping her with her showering every other day, so everything else is fine except for the food. They have activities every day, and usually they exercise. They have cardio on Monday, and stretching classes and balancing classes during the week. The rent is OK, but they charge you for everything you need in assisted living.
