Located just seven miles from downtown Little Rock, this retirement community offers spacious studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, each featuring a convenient kitchenette and large, wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Select units also offer walk-in closets and private patios or balconies, providing extra space for residents to enjoy.

Residents at Holiday Andover Place have access to a variety of amenities, including a community fireplace, a garden, a barber shop and beauty salon and a large-screen TV lounge. Residents are served three freshly prepared meals each day in a restaurant-style dining room. The community is also pet-friendly.

The community's Engage Life® program offers Andover Place residents a wide range of daily activities, from educational classes and entertainment to off-site trips around Little Rock. Complimentary scheduled transportation is included.

Andover Place provides each resident with a Lively® Mobile Plus device for 24/7 emergency assistance, both within the community and when out and about. Home care and home health services are available on-site for an extra fee. These services include wound care, medication management and assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming, toileting and mobility.

Our caregivers and staff receive some of the most stringent training in the industry to ensure we provide the best care and meet the unique needs of residents struggling with dementia.

Care Coordination: From managing chronic illnesses and multiple medications to juggling different healthcare professionals and varying care plans, the health needs of our residents can be unique. We utilize the latest technology so that every team member is always up to date on each resident, and in anticipation of the next step in each resident's care plan.

Communication: Communication is key in every element of the Memory Care of Little Rock at Good Shepherd way â€“ whether communicating with residents, family, or health professionals, our staff will ensure open, effective communication. Any family member can be alerted to their loved one's daily activities, by email, text and/or personal telephone call. Our communications program is as customizable as our memory care program.

Community Engagement: For residents with memory loss and their loved ones, navigating through the disease process can be isolating and scary. We are committed to being a local resource for education, engagement, and community building.

Grand Brook Memory Care of Little Rock

Wellington Woods Memory Care is a new 16-unit, 20-bed facility that was specifically designed to provide a safe, secure, comfortable and homelike environment for loved ones suffering from cognitive deficits. 

Our mission is to bring a higher level of memory care to Central Arkansas. This commitment is evident in every facet of life here: the attentiveness of staff, delicious and nutritional meals, and conspicuous cleanliness. Our team members are extensions of residents families, alert to opportunities to add personal touches to any aspect of daily life. The social dining experience and wide range of activity options encourage active interaction.

Wellington Woods Memory Care is located in a quiet and easily accessible area in west Little Rock and is nestled near the center of several upscale neighborhoods. It can be reached via the Chenal Parkway or Cantrell Road (Hwy. 10) corridors and is only minutes from I-430. This location allows Wellington Woods to be near medical facilities and other essential services while being an extension of the residential community, providing a home-like setting. 

Our onsite chef prepares three delicious meals a day, with snacks and hydration available in between. Opportunities to mingle and interact are engineered into daily life, with visits from family and friends being easily arranged (subject to CDC and ADH guidelines). Our facility houses a salon, for haircuts and styling, pedicures and manicures. TV programming, WIFI access and phones are available at no additional charge, as is a call system to summon staff.

As a memory care facility, we offer specialized activities and exercises designed to help those with cognitive issues. Home health services providing physical, occupational and speech therapy services, as well as many other services, are available on-site. Other on-site services include access to Wellington Woods medical director, mobile optometric, dental and podiatry services.

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Nursing Assistants (NAs) as well as other staff members have received specialized training in caring for residents with cognitive deficits. Together, this team of professionals will develop an individualized plan of care for your loved one.

These caregivers provide a superlative level of compassionate care, getting to know every resident in a personal manner. Staff members strive to check on all residents at least once every two hours to ensure their needs are being met.
