We really liked the apartment at Good Shepherd Community. We also liked the atmosphere, the lady staff member who works there, and it feels like my loved out would be at home there. They have cottages, apartments, and a lot of different things to offer. If the resident’s dementia increases and their health decreases, they also have a memory care unit which is a plus. They have planned out activities for the month, and they have a newspaper calendar with all the activities in there. They also have transportation to go shopping, to the museum, and things like that, including parties for birthdays. You have the option to cook for yourself if you are in a cottage or apartment. They also provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and on some days just breakfast and lunch depending on your meal plan. The whole place is very clean.

Good Shepherd was very nice, clean, and very pleasant. We enjoyed the visit. The staff was friendly. They had a hair salon and a gym. The dining area was clean and large. The rooms were very spacious and clean.
