It provides senior citizens with the opportunity to continue living at home or within an assisted living community even when they require consistent nursing care. The program covers the cost of personal care or assisted living services, nurse visits, nonmedical&nbsp;transportation and a variety of home care services. Arizona’s Area Agencies on Aging administer it with the support of the state government.&nbsp; To qualify for the HCBS&nbsp;program, applicants should be at least 60 years of age or legally disabled and unable to perform activities of daily living.
