Rose Court Senior Living is a welcoming homelike community that provides tailored care for seniors who require assistance with activities of daily living to remain independent. What sets our community apart from others in Phoenix is the welcoming atmosphere that envelopes everyone who steps through the front door and our effort to treat everyone just like family.
Rose Court Senior Living is operated by the Ensign Group. At our communities we provide seniors a broad spectrum of services, from skilled nursing to assisted living services and rehabilitative services.
Rose Court Senior Living offers a variety of inviting accommodations to suit any taste. Many of our spacious studio apartment homes, available in private or shared suites, include plush wall-to-wall carpeting, views of our scenic grounds and emergency response systems. Residents are encouraged to decorate with personal furnishings to make the space truly feel like theirs.
Throughout our community are many places where residents gather during the day. The community room plays host to a variety of activities such as poker, arts and crafts and movie nights. I Visited This Community
When you pull up to Rose Court, you will never confuse it for one of its fancy, newer, more income driven competitors. While clean in appearance and genuinely generic looking on the outside, once inside it is quite institutional and stark, but seems well maintained. Home to many residents with various types and levels of dementia who are all milling about together it has a slightly chaotic atmosphere. The staff seemed tired yet caring, and there seems to not be enough of them, although with this type of care that is always the case it seems. The rooms are large enough for the residents to have enough space without being too big. Housekeeping did not strike me as a priority evidenced by the standing dirty water in the sink of the resident I was there to see, and a partial glass of what appeared to be an ice cream shake or possible root beer float, which since it was breakfast time, I could only assume was left there from the night before. Since the community had a high percentage of ALTCS/Medicaid residents, it would make sense the building looked it. It does not excuse the lack of cleanliness. I have to assume that this was a day of exception and not normalcy. But it did leave a negative impression and if asked, there are many places I would recommend before Rose Court. This is just one person's opinion based on the observations of one visit, so before crossing this community off your list, please take a tour of your own and see how it compares for yourself.
