Our elegant community, which recently completed a series of renovations, is filled with life and activity, from our numerous activity programs held every day to our many on-site amenities and services. No matter your lifestyle choice, our community always has something to offer.

Featured Amenities
Accommodations at our community come in studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Each apartment comes equipped with granite countertops, full kitchens, state-of-the-art emergency communication systems, spacious closets and tile flooring in the kitchens and bathrooms. Two-bedroom apartments also come with private, in-unit washers and dryers.
When looking to stay physically active, both our PrimeFit gym and heated swimming pool are great places to start. Movie nights are held regularly in our on-site theater and residents have access to the Internet in our computer center. When looking to simply relax or enjoy a conversation with friends, our seniors have the use of a wide variety of common areas and lounges.
Available Services
As a part of the standard services we provide, all residences receive regular housekeeping and home maintenance checks. Assisted living residents at our community have access to helpful services 24 hours a day. These may include assistance with medication management, dressing, personal hygiene and other activities of daily life.

I visited this facility
Fairwinds - Desert Point has Phase 1, which was the original and Phase 2 which has new rooms, and there's quite a bit of difference between the two. The staff is very nice, friendly, and helpful. The place was immaculate, and they had a lot of activities going on in the fitness center which had no extra charge, so you're able to go in and take advantage of the exercise.

I am/was a resident of this facility
We moved into Fairwinds. They have both assisted living and independent care. I think it's a very good place to be. I'm glad I'm here. The people are friendly, the staff is wonderful, and the food is really good. I think it's a good place. They have nice apartments. The one I'm staying in is a bigger one, but I'm going into a smaller one because my husband is gone. They have everything from studio up to two-bedroom with a den. Everything is maintained well. They seem to care about you here. The caregivers are wonderful and treat you like good friends. It's not cheap, but you get a lot, too. You don't have to pay utilities except for your telephone, and you don't have to pay taxes. There are a lot of things you don't have to pay.
