I looked at White Cliffs Senior Living, and that’s an impressive facility. I saw the floor plans, the different sizes and styles of the rooms, and there’s a nice variety, but you have to bring your own furniture. If you don’t have anything, they will help you get stuff to bring in. They have a poker room, bingo room, library, and a movie theater. They have restaurant-style dining, and each night there are two choices. Someone comes to the table to take their orders, and I thought that was pretty cool. I thought that was dignified for the residents as well. They have planned activities that the residents want to come down and participate in, and they have events. There’s a separate room, and you can rent that room if you have family members visit, so you can sit down to dinner together at the same table. They come and take your order too. Everybody that I talked to was super nice, they followed up, and they contacted me after the visit. The place was clean, I was totally blown away, and I might just move in there myself. They also have an inner courtyard with benches and grass, you can sit out there, and because it’s in the center, there are always shaded parts, except for at high noon of course.

My friend was at White Cliffs Senior Living. I liked it a lot. I thought it was a great community, but the size of it completely freaked her out. She couldn't handle the long corridor, she was lost all the time. When they put over in the other unit, her room was completely at the far end of the corridor, she couldn't get from her room to the dining room by herself because she could get lost. She couldn't handle the size, but it's a wonderful place. They had excellent food, great service, and the staff was excellent. They had a lot of excellent activities. The price was a little bit high, but when you consider all the staff working and the amenities they have, I would say it's OK. They had bingo, poker, outside activities, happy hour in the evening, dancing and singing.
