I visited the Gardens of Clanton. I was treated very nice, and I really liked it. It's my mother that has decided she wants to remain independent for a while. It would be rough on anybody moving in with the Covid the way it is and you can't have visitors like you'd want to. That would not be a very good thing to look forward to anywhere. I was shown all different types of rooms and they were nice, a 1-bedroom, a 2-bedroom, and a suite. It felt homey, and it was kind of small. They had a beauty shop, I saw one lady getting her nails done in a room, and some of the ladies were on the front porch sitting outside and talking. There was a nice little dining room. They celebrate everybody's birthdays, and they get to eat together. They're doing the best they can during the Covid crisis. It was nice and clean.

Everyone we talked to at Gardens of Clanton seemed very friendly, caring, helpful, and kind. Everything about the place seemed very nice. They showed us the various rooms. You can have a small room, or you can have a little apartment. They were very nice. They have some exercise rooms.
