Description of Twining Valley
Twining Valley Retirement Community is an independent senior living community located in the city of Monroe, WI. The city is known as the Swiss cheese capital of the United States and there are plenty of opportunities for seniors to taste and buy this delicious cheese. Monroe has a population of about 10,000 people, and about 21% of residents are over the age of 65.
Twining Valley Retirement Community has a choice between one- and two-bedroom apartments and single-level homes. There are multiple floorplan options depending on the requirements of the residents. The homes have attached garages and fully fitted kitchens. Residents in the apartments have access to heated underground parking and all appliances are included. All of the units are pet-friendly and there is an outdoor space where residents can walk their dogs. Maintenance services are available 24/7. Units can be fitted with an emergency call system.
The community offers a range of activities and amenities to promote a healthy lifestyle. Amenities on-site include an activity room, media center, storage areas and 12 acres of gardens with walking paths. A schedule of activities is offered, including fitness classes, arts and crafts and bingo.
