Our welcoming community makes seniors feel right at home and independent, even though they are living in an assisted living community. With numerous activities offered on site and in historic Cedarburg, residents have many opportunities to form friendships and pursue an enriching lifestyle of their choosing.

McKinley Place is just one of the many properties managed by Enlivant. An operator of more than 200 senior living residences, the goal of Enlivant is to enhance seniors&#39; lives by providing them with a homelike setting that encourages independence.

We offer studio or one-bedroom apartment floor plans in a variety of sizes, and a kitchenette is available if residents want the option of cooking. Other features include window treatments and an emergency call system in the bathroom and bedroom. Pets are allowed after an assessment.

An activity and TV room, lounges and a library, provide many areas for our residents to socialize or relax with a book. Our Meaningful Pursuits activities offer opportunities for seniors to remain mentally fit, and we support their physical health by providing nutritious and delicious meals that are customized by a registered dietician. Furthering the sense of community amongst our residents, meals are served restaurant-style.

We pride ourselves on providing quality assisted living care that encourages a resident&#39;s independence. Our professional staff provides assistance with bathing, dressing and medication management, among other activities. Transportation is arranged for appointments and activities. And for ease of mind, twenty-four hours a day, there is a registered nurse on-call twenty-four hours a day.

Other ways we make life a bit easier for our residents is by providing weekly housekeeping and laundry services. Apartment maintenance is covered, as are utilities, except for cable and telephone. Instead of traveling into town, we have an on-site beauty salong and barber shop.

Assisted living without compromising on independence is our belief at McKinley Place, and we are ready to serve Wisconsin seniors seeking a such a community.

Stop at the daily Coffee hour and discuss the news of the day. Join the Knitting/Crochet Circle, and volunteer with Operation Sweet Pea. Bridge, Mahjong, poker, and cribbage are common games we see groups of residents playing with each other or with outside friends in our various social rooms. Watch a documentary on Tuesday night and other movies Friday - Sunday. Check the calendar to plan a shopping trip, and see what concerts, theatre, sightseeing or lunches are coming up. Theres something to do every single day.

Try the daily exercise class, chair yoga, or non-impact aerobics to help increase flexibility and strength. Build strength and endurance with Wii bowling while you play for a league trophy. Try the circuit training or sign up for a massage. And enjoy healthy and tasty dining daily.
