Description of The Villages at Greystone
We opened our doors to The Villages at Greystone Senior Living Community and moved in our first resident on November 1, 1998. Until then, the closest assisted living similar to ours was over an hour away for anyone living in the Beckley area and surrounding counties. Many people now tell me that we were "Heaven Sent." The Villages at Greystone is very unique in the types of services we offer. One may think we are similar to any old nursing home, but that is the farthest from the truth. The entire staff of The Villages at Greystone focuses daily on providing excellent customer service, maintaining a comfortable homelike atmosphere and a family-like relationship with every resident and their families. Almost all of our families tell us that 'we have spoiled their parents rotten.' We take comments such as this as an ultimate compliment!!! While we do take care of health care issues as they arise with our 24-hour-a-day nursing staff, we also try each day to revolve everything around fun!
