1 Continuing Care Community in Walla Walla, Washington

My dad has moved into Brookdale Walla Walla. I haven't been there. I'm not able to go there at this time because of recent surgery and then with coronavirus, they're on quarantine right now. They are shut down because two people tested positive last week, so I'm not able to go there. However, I have seen online pictures and I have lived in that area. It has a good reputation. My dad said it's a very nice place. They try to take care of everybody the best they can because right now, everybody is stuck in their rooms. My dad has had a few little glitches with moving in and getting down his schedule with theirs and that kinda thing, but everything seems to be working out smoothly. He likes it, he just doesn't like being locked in his room. I talk to a staff member every day or two. The girl that helps him the most is the girl in the office. She is very helpful. She goes out of her way to try to get your requests or your concerns taken care of. Right now, their activities are at a stop, still because of the coronavirus. They can't go out of their rooms. They can't do anything they usually do, so I understand, but normally, once the coronavirus, the quarantine is lifted then they will go back to their normal activities schedule which I think will be nice. That's not the fault of Brookdale, they're trying to keep everybody safe. I think they're kind of as good as we can get right there for the money we're paying.
