My visit to Harvard Park was perfect. The apartment was beautiful. The place was active and there were people being active in it. They have activities in the hallways, they have a senior bus, food available 24 hours a day, snacks in the hallway, and they have a dog and a bird. They were nothing but nice, friendly, and sincere people. They offer friends and family free meals the first month they come in there, which is really nice, so they can come and visit you and see the whole kit and caboodle and not get charged. That's an awfully nice gesture. The staff was the best, knowledgeable, honest, and forthright. The food was delicious and they bring your seconds if you want. They have four choices for lunch and three for dinner. The food is also available all day long. I'd live there. It's a good place and it's the best place in Spokane.

Harvard Park was a great place and we really liked it. The manager was wonderful and the staff and residents loved it. We watched them play games in the dining room. The dining room looked clean.

My mother picked Harvard Park and she likes it. It's not hospital-like. It's all independent living apartments. They provide three meals a day. It's clean because I wouldn't let her stay someplace that wasn't. The food is good. I ate there a couple times myself. They usually have five different choices for each meal, plus you can order ala carte. She's only been living there for a little over a week, so she hasn't had a chance to do the activities yet. They take the residents shopping, they go to concerts, they have crafts, they play cards, they have a card group, and they also take the residents to the appointments they need. Her apartment has a patio and a kitchenette area. They have a full-sized kitchen if you want to do any baking downstairs. With the meals that are provided she doesn't really cook that much.

I had a very good impression of Harvard Park. The rooms were nice, not really big, but they're adequate. They serve three meals, do housekeeping, and provide the bedsheets. It's excellent in the way it's setup, but the food is a little bit questionable. They should let the chef cook the food that we can eat. The cooking is good, but the selection of food that they require the chef to cook is not very good.
