This community was probably the best of the places we went to. The director was very helpful, and the people, location, and the whole place was nice. The rooms were more than I expected. I was surprised by the room sizes, the bedroom and living room concept, and the kitchenette.

Sunrise in Countryside was like a little hotel. It was newer, and the building was beautiful. It was more impressive in terms of aesthetics compared to the other places we've seen. It had a new hotel lobby feel. All meals were included and laundry service was available. The lady who accommodated us was very nice.

I loved it. The staff was incredibly caring and nice. It was not as fancy as some of the others we looked at, but it was still definitely very comfortable and pleasant. It smelled nice and clean. We really liked it, and the activities list looked good.

Cascades Village was a very nice place. The main entrance into the building, which is the common area for the residents, looked to be quite beautiful to me. They have a library in front of the building, which looked to be quite nice too. The apartment that I looked at, which is not the same one that my mom would move into, was quite nice and roomy. Overall, of the little that I did see, I was very impressed. The person who accommodated me was very helpful. However, I think there have been one or two questions that have been raised that I need to talk to a supervisor about. I think that management needs to coordinate with whoever they're putting in a position to meet with the public to give them proper information.

Sunrise at Countryside is great. Mom's really happy and she's actually doing better. She was in her wheelchair all the time and now she's walking down to meals and she wants a new walker, the kind with the wheels. I wish I had understood that the insurance wasn't going to cover the rent, it was just going to cover the assisted living fee, but I still would have done it anyway and I'm glad I did. The staff and services are great. The food is good. The dining area is nice, clean, and homey. The whole place is really full of light, which is nice. They have happy hour. I'm still trying to get her to do the art classes, which she hasn't yet, but there's plenty of activities for her to do. It's expensive, but it's worth it.
