My parents are at The Fairmont. My stepmother especially likes the look of a hotel. The room they got was nice and spacious with a nice outdoor area. It was important to my dad to have an outdoor area. Management seems to be right on top of things. My stepmother is into crafting, and there's a bible study for my dad. They have a van that can take them places eventually when COVID is over. They both like the food. We will eventually need to have more than just independent living, but for independent living I think it's great. The staff has been great.

The Fairmont was wonderful. They had three or four different room arrangements, and one had a living room, dining room, kitchen and a separate bedroom and bathroom. It was really very nice. It was all very reasonable too. It was about a little less than $3000 a month for room and also meals. They had three meals a day, seven days a week. They had a good social program. It was a nice facility, well laid out, and it looked very good to me. They also had arranged for two of the residents to work with them. I met with those two senior ladies, and they were very nice. The place appeared to be very clean, and it was very presentable. I visited at 10:00 on a Saturday morning, and they wanted me to come back for lunch. The staff was really good.

The Fairmont had a very friendly atmosphere. All the people were very nice. I had lunch and the food was very good. The dining room staff was very nice when they came around with the food. They did not have a 1-bedroom available, so I saw a studio instead. It seemed to me that the majority of the residents were 80 and above, and I am far from that. The place was extremely clean. It was not brand new, but it was well kept up. It was definitely a place I would consider.

Fairmont is really a nice community. The location is favorable for my sisters and the apartments are very nice and well-maintained. The only thing I would change would be how close the meals are together. Sometimes lunch and dinner are too close together, I think they should move it up a half-hour at least. Their food is delicious, they have an excellent chef. They have lots of activities planned all the time, although it would be better if there's a pool. They have a very nice library, there's puzzles for everyone, and there were really nice tea rooms. Even my ten-year old daughter loves it here. The rooms have a kitchenette, sink, you can choose between a small and a larger refrigerator, or bring a full-size one. They do whatever you need for safety in the bathroom, they would put up a rail if you need them. I think they need air-conditioner and heat in both the bedroom and the living area because right now there's only one for both rooms. The staff is very nice here, very personable and knows us by name. The house-keeping staff and handyman are all very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is like everybody is family. They are really amazing, they go out of their way to help you and make you feel good.

The Fairmont was definitely warm and welcoming. The gentleman there had a name on a welcoming sign for us, gave us a tour, answered all our questions, and was outstanding. In fact, it was so good that my sister-in-law, who is 60, said now she knows what's out there for her, so it was a very good experience. Had my mother been able, we would have definitely considered. Everything was a 10, no question.

The Fairmont seemed like a nice place. It was more of an independent living location. If you needed more, you have to contract that yourself. I was inquiring for my father, but I no longer need a place for him. Nevertheless, they were very helpful and informative, followed up with me, answered all my questions, and were just generally good people. They have a very busy calendar. I would recommend a family member to check them out.

The Fairmont is clean. My mother-in-law loves all the activities. They have good food. We can go eat with her for $5, which is very reasonable. They always have a nice Mother's Day and Father's Day dinner and the other holidays, too. They have a pool, a library that has a pool table in it, bingo, and arts and crafts.

The Fairmont was a very nice place. The people were friendly and informative. The staff answered all of our questions, and showed us all the different rooms and what they had to offer. It was nice. They had both two-bedroom and one-bedroom studio apartments. There weren't any cooking facilities, but they had a living room, bedroom, washer and dryer, and a place where you can put a microwave and a refrigerator. They had different activities like card games, movie time, and scheduled tours or trips.

The Fairmont was nice and clean. The directors were very helpful and nice. The apartments were nice and clean. They had a salon, a library, a computer room, and a little cafeteria. They had a bunch of activities on a daily basis, like interactions and current events. One thing that kind of turned me off was there was a smell of urine on the terrace.

The managers that run The Fairmont were very friendly and involved. It was very clean, and I got to see a couple of the rooms. Everything was good. It was old but very nice. There were lots of activities and plans for the residents, who looked friendly.

We toured The Fairmont and it’s a good place. Everybody there treated us nicely and they showed us around the place. The rooms were a little small, but I guess they are all going to be like that.
