I visited this facility
Golden Years was run-down and wasn't very clean. The rooms that they showed us seemed to be fairly clean because they're empty. I went to a shower area in another part of the building where they can take people in the wheelchair and shower. And it hadn't been cleaned, it needs to be regrouted and there's toilet paper on the floor. The 2 lady staff that I spoke with were very nice and accommodating. And they were both fairly new employees so they couldn't give us a lot of specifics. They were having church services at the time, some residents were watching TV, they have a pool table area, a big deck on the back that they go out and sit on when the weather is nice. It did seem like there was much going on. The staff was very nice and apologetic that no one was there to meet us.
