Description of Shenandoah Senior Living
Providing a secure, comfortable and caring home for seniors in need of assisted living and respite care, Loving Arms Assisted Living is a vibrant residential retirement community. We are located in a serene country setting on a 90-acre farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are also just minutes from the Warren Memorial Hospital.
Loving Arms Assisted Living is managed by Meridian Senior Living. Caring for more than 5,000 elderly residents across the country, Meridian Senior Living provides the resources, experience and personal attention that help make aging-related decisions easier.
Accommodations are available as single or shared occupancy and feature cable television, private bathrooms, wall-to-wall carpeting, mini-fridges and individual climate controls in each room. Best of all, small pets are also welcome to move in too!
To keep our residents active and engaged with the community, our Activity Director organizes a full calendar of daily events and activities. From card games and on-site concerts to shopping trips and craft projects, there is never a dull moment at Loving Arms Assisted Living.
As an assisted living community, our caregivers offer the supportive services that seniors need to maintain full and independent lives. This includes help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, managing medication and more. A nurse is on-call 24 hours a day, and other services we provide include physical therapy and hospice care.
For additional comfort and convenience, we take care of all building and grounds maintenance, housekeeping and transportation to appointments and off-site events. Three meals are served each day in our community dining room and salon services are available in our on-site beauty/barbershop.
At Loving Arms Assisted Living, we offer a lifestyle that will enhance your loved one's physical and emotional well-being.

I Visited This Facility
Shenandoah Senior Living was a nice place, but it's a little more crowded there. The staff members seemed to be very caring people. The residents that we saw seemed to be pretty happy with their situation. The rooms were nice, open, airy, well-maintained, with lots of light, and they were well-appointed. They have laundry services and cleaning. We were impressed. It really was a very scenic spot. Of all the places, it was more out in the country. There are views of the mountains and there's a farm next door where you can go fishing. It was a really nice location. I really liked it.
