I'm currently in Brookdale Clear Lake. I'm in a two-bedroom apartment. It has many things, but hardly since the virus started. We used to go on bus tours a couple of times a month, and we would go to places or things around here, and that stopped, but we have exercise class every morning, and chair yoga on Mondays and Fridays. We will start next week having seating in the dining room again. We have in-house help to do things for you if you need to. We have a barber and beauty shop.

Brookdale Clear Lake was laid out differently than I expected. You have to go outside to get around in the facility, kind of like apartments. It had beautiful gardens. I looked at a 1-bedroom model, which was beautiful. I liked the amenities that they offered and the food was excellent. The food is available from 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. You can tell that they have a real chef and there are a number of choices for every meal. I'm on a restricted diet, yet I believe that I will always find something that will fit my diet there. They will take my pets and their activity calendar had a number of choices for exercising and other interesting activities.

Brookdale Clear Lake is nice, but the rooms are small. The person who toured me around was very helpful and seemed to be knowledgeable. The dining room was nothing fancy. The activities room and gymnasium were small, and they had a craft room.
