My grandpa was at Legend Healthcare and Rehabilitation. He had been there several times. The more times that he goes there, the less he wants to go back because it has gotten terrible. They have shared rooms. There were literally dirty handprints all over the walls and on the ceilings, and the bathrooms were hardly ever cleaned. Literally Grandpa would have to keep asking them, "Where's my meds?" because he would like to get his meds on time. If we called to find out the status of things or if he was improving, they would never call us back. They could never give us an answer on what was going on with him. If they needed to give him a bath, they would give him a sponge bath on the bed. They wouldn't get him up and give him a bath in the bathtub, and he didn't like that either. He literally stayed in bed all day everyday until his physical therapy got him out of the bed and helped him.
