I love Champions Cove. The upkeep is wonderful. It's like family a family, and I'm very happy. The staff is helpful and very friendly. Food is not provided here, but you can cook your own meals, and we have a 24-hour coffee bar. Food service also comes in and we can always order out and they will deliver it to us here. It is very clean everywhere you go, and there are pictures are hung on the wall. They take us out on trips to different stores and restaurants. It's not like living in your own little apartment. You always have something you can do. They have exercise classes, events, and music. You still have the feeling of your independence, but when you go outside of your apartment, it's like you're at a Club Med. They know you by name, even the residents. It's such a friendly and comfortable place. They have a movie theater, masseuse, nail shop, libraries, and homecare service where a maid will come and clean your home. Out of all the places I visited, it's the most economical.
Champions Cove looked newly updated. The room I saw looked very comfortable. The staff who assisted me was very nice and helpful with the information about the facility. They seem to have a full calendar of monthly events. They had a beauty and barber shop and a really small workout area, so I wasn't impressed.
Champions Cove was very nice. The staff was very nice as well. They showed us around, and they're very polite and very nice. There was nothing I could complain about. They were just too expensive for what we could afford. It was all very clean.
I have been a resident of Champions Cove for a couple of years now. It's active senior living, and it's also a gated community. I like that the layout of the apartment building is a cross so each unit gets an ample amount of sunlight, and we have a view. Its three stories, it's a nice community, and we're all naturally 55+. We have one common area where they have coffee, and you can go there any time, sit down, and have a conversation with other residents. And when you've had enough you can just go back to your apartment and shut the door. They have bingo every Monday, about every other month there's a party, like the young folks do with dancing and a lot of food, and I really like the margaritas. I just have a 1-bedroom with a kitchenette, a large living room, and a large bathroom. Some units are 2-bedroom, 2-baths, and they have garages and carports that you can rent, but they also have parking spaces. There's a Costco close to us, and there's a senior citizens' community center about a mile away so I would go up there and sign up for everything they offer. We have a shuttle that takes you if you don't own a car, they take you to the mall or grocery store, and bring you back. They went up on their rent, but you get what you pay for. The staff is very accommodating, friendly, and they cater to your needs. We have to supply our own meals. Next month there will be a Labor Day party, and there's always a birthday party every month for people or for the new residents, and they give us cake and ice cream. We get donuts ever Monday and Friday in the common area, and there are exercise classes as well. I like that I don't have to worry about anybody knocking on my door asking if I've found Jesus since it's a gated community.
Champions Cove was nice, but a bit too independent for my sister. I loved the rooms in the apartments because they're nice and big, but she doesn't drive and there aren't enough services there. They are also kind of isolated. There's a Costco a quarter mile away, but she'll still need to drive.
I will move to Champions Cove in September. They showed me around and explained the activities. I liked the space in the apartments and the covered parking and garages. They had a barbershop and a beauty shop, church services every Sunday, and country club membership.
Champions Cove is a nice place and I liked it. The person that assisted me during the tour was very nice and complimentary. The have a lot of activities for the residents, like Bingo, exercises, and so on. The appearance of the place is nice, clean, and orderly. The rooms and dining area were also nice. They have amenities like a swimming pool, a theater, and they allow pets.
If ever I need to move, it would definitely be to Champions Cove. It was excellent, and I was so impressed with the place. Everything was so nicely done and private, which was what I really liked. The apartment that I looked at was excellent. It was light and airy, had high ceilings, good views, and easy access. I couldn’t ask for more. They had a movie room and a library. Everybody seemed extremely friendly. I liked the lobby because it was very open.
This senior retirement community is a great place for companionship. This active community have a variety of floor plans with spacious apartments. Champions Cove is a independent community, which provides seniors with social outlets. There are services that residents can benefit from such as transportation to doctors appointments and grocery trips. There are additional services such as wellness, housekeeping and salon services all for an additional fee. The building is bright and clean. Residents are responsible for meal planning unless they take part in outings to a restaurant. The staff are considered average in regards to friendliness but not involved with supportive services.
I met with Susan and was very impressed with the facility, the staff, and residents I met. I liked that all of the rooms are inside doors so you don't have to go outside to get mail, etc, The staff seemed to know everyone by name and everyone seemed to be very happy.
