I would recommend Brookdale Conway if you need assisted living. The apartments were smaller, but because it's assisted living, it's ample. They have a nice bedroom, a sitting room, and a little bit of a kitchenette where you can make coffee or tea. The director and medical staff were very knowledgeable, and they have 24-hour care available on-site. It was just a little depressing. They only had one main sitting area, which was right when you walk in the door, and you see a number of people just sitting there in wheelchairs and walkers. The staff member during the tour was wonderful.

My mother moved into anderson Oaks assisted Living. It’s nice, and it’s in a wooded area. It’s smaller, all 1-level, and the people are very nice. The dining area was nice, and they’re very accommodating about selections. The staff is capable, friendly, and go out of their way to help you. I have no complaints so far. My mother does a sing-along, she can get a manicure, they do Bingo, they make greeting cards, and bake cookies. They have a lot of good things to stimulate the mind and help her be active.
