You will find a life of personalized service and exemplary care at Bloom at Belfair in Bluffton, South Carolina. Our community is designed for seniors who wish to maintain their independent life styles and remain active. We provide convenience and security allowing residents to enjoy a maintenance and worry-free life with more time to do what they want – socialize with friends, family and pursue their hobbies.
Bloom Senior Living is a family-owned business and since 1965 we have worked tirelessly toward the simple goal of helping our residents flourish. Confronted with our grandmother's battle with Alzheimer's disease, we struggled to find the right environment to provide care as her condition progressed. We wanted to create a place with modern amenities that would feel like home. Our communities focus on providing comfortable independent living, assisted living, memory care and respite care, allowing our residents not only live, but bloom.
Residents at Bloom at Belfair benefit from our signature Life Enrichment Program which incorporates cognitive, physical, nutritional, spiritual and social programs. Our cognitive programs include computer classes, guest lectures and discussion groups, while yoga, tai chi and chair Pilates are offered as physical programs. Our Life Enrichment Coordinator will get to know you, learn your life story and incorporate your interests, talents and lifestyle into your program.
Our residents also enjoy Bloom's signature Five Star Dining Program. We understand that fine dining is very important to our seniors' lives and our residents are served by our professionally trained culinary team. Our executive chef understands that aging can impact our sense of taste and smell, so ingredients and flavors are selected carefully to prepare home-cooked meals from scratch daily.
Bloom at Belfair embraces the concept of aging in place, allowing residents to receive more care when they need it. Numerous amenities are bundled into our affordable monthly rates such as meals, anytime snacks, 24-hour support staff, housekeeping and linen service, home maintenance and transportation services. Those requiring more assistance with activities of daily living will find our assisted living just the right fit, where we offer nighttime checks, escort services and incontinence care and many other features.
Our memory care programs set the standard for excellence in care and we can accommodate residents with early, middle and late stages of Alzheimer's or dementia. Our caring associates will work with you and your family to develop an individualized care plan to ensure that your loved one's needs and interests are perfectly accommodated.
We welcome you to Bloom at Belfair and discover how to live life to its fullest.

I toured Bloom at Belfair. The area was quite congested. It's close to Hilton Head, and there are lots and lots of people there, so I dont think I'll be interested. The facility itself is quite nice, but quite expensive. The person who gave me the tour was quite nice. I couldn't stay for dinner, but they gave me a whole apple pie to take along with me. I saw several people in the halls reading and doing some jigsaw puzzles, but other than that I didn't see any activities at the time.

Bloom at Belfair's rooms were a little dingy. It was a larger facility than the other place I visited, and their main area seemed very nice.

The rooms at Bloom at Belfair were small for my parents and none of them had fully equipped kitchens because they were going to have their meals prepared for them. They didn't have an oven and their refrigerators were little. Even though they allowed independent living, the rooms were set for people who needed more care. You could have a toaster or a microwave oven. They had a small library, transportation, get-togethers, they would take them shopping, they had exercise programs in the mornings, social activities, happy hour, games, cards, and puzzles. The staff was very accommodating and professional and has reached out a few times. She was very good at her job. The place seemed a little bit darker than I would've thought, but it looked nice and it had a nice entry way. It was a little bit older than some of the other places.
