Freedom Village Brandywine is a Life Plan residential continuing care retirement community situated on 30.5 acres of land in the West Brandywine Township, Chester County. The Community contains two hundred and eighty-nine (289) residential condominiums in a five-story structure (The Village) and an additional twenty-eight (28) residential condominiums in two, three-story buildings (Terrace Homes) for a total of three hundred and seventeen (317) condominiums. All are constructed of poured-in-place concrete and completely sprinkled for fire protection.

Freedom Village Brandywine also provides three additional levels of living should the health of a resident require additional care.

The Inn at Freedom Village is a 60 bed Medicare licensed skilled nursing center currently utilizing 50 licensed beds. The Inn provides Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitative Services.

The Gardens is our Care Home licensed for 60 apartments, and currently with a capacity of 56. The Clare Bridge Place is our secure Memory Care Home, licensed for 24 beds, and currently utilizing 22 beds.

Offering several levels of care based on the personal needs and desires of each resident, Friends Home in Kennett&nbsp;is conveniently located near Longwood and Avondale, with a variety of local amenities and services less than a mile away. Our community is unique because we have been a fixture of the community for more than 100 years.

Friends Home in Kennett is a nonprofit senior living community whose beginning dates to 1898 when a group of Quakers came together to serve seniors. Our community includes Linden Hall, which offers skilled nursing services, Jackson and Walton buildings where our&nbsp;independent living residents live and the Main building where we offer assisted living apartments.

Part of what makes Friends Home in Kennett&nbsp;such a great place to enjoy retirement&nbsp;are the various accommodations and care types we offer. We have apartments in various sizes and floor plans, many of which feature full kitchens or kitchenettes,&nbsp;spacious closets and individually-controlled thermostats. All of our accommodations are equipped with emergency call systems that are monitored around the clock.

Residents have the opportunity to take part in a variety of engaging and fun activities throughout the year, including&nbsp;Friday movie nights, bingo, pet visits and bingo. For dining options, we provide restaurant-style meals in the community dining room. The meal plan for assisted living residents includes three meals, while our independent living residents are treated to one meal.&nbsp;

Convenient transportation services are offered for residents who want to go shopping, reach medical appointments or even run errands. All of our residences receive&nbsp;routine housekeeping services, as well as personal laundry and linen services.&nbsp;
