Main Line Adult Day Center

Main Line Adult Day Center (MLADC) is a community-based program designed to meet the needs of adults with cognitive and physical limitations. The goal of MLADC is to support members in achieving and maintaining the highest possible level of independence so that they may continue living in their own communities. While the majority of members are older, younger adults have also successfully utilized the center.

MLADC has been serving the community for over 22 years. Our staff operates on a simple mission; to provide a safe, interactive and supportive day-time environment where our members can have a meaningful day. This is accomplished through the development of individualized care plans and staff encouragement to participate. The trained staff organizes a daily schedule which includes continental breakfast, hot lunch and snack as well as assisting with personal care, including hair care/shower services, and recreational and therapeutic activities that enhance our members functioning while promoting socialization. The center nurse oversees nutrition, wellness, medication administration and access to physical/occupational therapy and podiatry services. The Center implements innovative programs, such as the horticulture therapy, creative arts, pet therapy, intergenerational programming, physical & cognitive fitness and socialization that improve the quality of life for each individual by using non-pharmacological alternatives to behavioral management, which is especially helpful for those individuals with dementia.

MLADC is valued alternative to group residential living and allows caregivers to work outside the home or simply gain respite in order to accomplish other tasks.
