Unfortunately, they offer handicap apartments, but they do NOT have automatic doors for ADA compliance for the handicapped people who live here to go in and out of the apartment building by themselves. No one in a wheelchair can go in or out by themselves without a push button automatic door system.

the rooms are small but they work, My only issue is that smoking is allowed in the individual apartments but unfortunately for us non smokers the smoke smell comes into the non smokers apartment, Really need to make it a non smoking building. Smokers should go out side to smoke or be made to run air purifiers in their apartments. If they can afford cigarettes they can afford an air purifier, It is not fair that a non smokers has to smell it

Walnut Woods is a nice place. We just looked at the facilities, what the cost was, and what will be included. The staff members were helpful. The apartments were adequate. The dining area was good. The place was very clean.

Walnut Woods was really nice and clean. They have a dining room, and the rooms were nice. I looked at an efficiency apartment. The staff member who helped me was very nice. They gave me a program of different activities they had for the month and it looked like they were keeping people pretty well-occupied. The food looked pretty nice and the menu was varied. Everything looked nice and it was easy to get through. Everything seemed to be working fine.

Devonshire Estates was very nice. I saw an apartment there that I liked very much, with nice closets, a bedroom, a small living area, and two large windows, which is good since I need light for sewing. The staff members were very friendly, and I saw that they're really helpful to people who needed it. I saw their food plans where you can select your dinners for the next day. They had various activities and group functions that you can register to do. They said they had grounds for gardening or flowering, for people that are interested. They also take you if needed to your doctors' appointments. I saw one gentleman having trouble walking, and they were right there immediately to assist him. The only thing I was concerned about is that in the evening there's no one there. You'd have to wear an attachment in case you needed assistance. But for that amount of people, it's strange to me there's no one in the building at night. The staff was good and answered my questions. I had an OK dinner there, nothing special. The layout was good. There was a large dining area on the first floor, and two or three rooms where they had club meetings or something like that. They had a list on the board of all the activities and times.
