We lived at Countryside Village for about three years and the reason we moved was that the rent -- which was fairly reasonable in the beginning -- was not reasonable anymore. It was a very luxurious place and expensive. They have people come in and sing and play instruments, and they have a lot of activities in the building. There's one very large building and about a dozen cottages. It's a very beautiful place and whoever decorated it in the first place must have spent millions. They just raised the rent too much for us, but it's really a good place. They have athletic things, a little exercise room with machines, and a person who directs his own little exercise classes. They bring in choruses and people who sing songs for us, and there's a man who plays the piano every month. They play a lot of Bingo and other games, and there's a small room for jigsaw puzzles and even a little one for pool. We had a large apartment with two big bedrooms and a big living room. Off my big bedroom was a huge closet. It had a nice small kitchen and a small dining area that's part of the living room also. The staff was excellent. In the large building were two floors and they were pretty much independent, and the third floor was where they had the apartments for people who needed a lot of nursing help. They had nursing facilities there. The people were nice and it was a good place to be.
