Situated in Clackamas, Oregon, Orchids ACH serves as a convenient locale for seniors to explore Mount Talbert Nature Park, view the high peaks of Mount Talbert and picnic along the river in High Rocks Park. With the Happy Valley Library and Eastridge Covenant Church on Sunnyside Road and the Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center close by, seniors don't have to travel far to access basic amenities.
Orchids ACH is a care home with highly trained staff, including registered nurses, available 24/7 to support residents with time-sensitive needs. Speech and occupational therapists, podiatrists and a visiting nurse offer additional care. Staff members are trained in the use of the Hoyer lift to perform assisted transfers and also qualified to perform catheter care, blood glucose monitoring and other common care tasks.
Seniors are welcome to make use of the facility's complimentary transportation services to make trips into Sunnyside for medical appointments, errands or social activities. Units with a private bath are available for residents who wish for maximum privacy. The facility aims to have a family-friendly feel, ensuring residents feel supported, comfortable and a part of the community.
