I visited this facility
We saw two-bedroom apartments at Whispering Winds that were occupied. They were nice and they were both a different square footage. The staff was good and answered the questions we had. We had lunch there.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Prestige Senior Living High Desert was very nice and comfortable. My husband stayed there for a day. It's beautiful, very nice, and clean. They had lots of things going on like bingo. The staff was very nice, but then there was an isolated incident with miscommunication.

I visited this facility
Prestige Senior Living High Desert was a very nice place. Theirs was just assisted living and not specifically memory care, and my husband needed memory care. It's a beautiful community with very nice people and really good care. I was very impressed. I would have liked to put my husband there, but they felt that they couldn't give the care he needs. The rooms were beautiful, like apartments. The place was clean, with beautiful facilities, and great food. If somebody doesn't need an awful lot of care, that's a nice place. I only met their sales manager, who was extremely nice. I didn't eat there but I saw the menus and people eating. It was a regular restaurant. They had tea in the afternoon.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident
I was able to try lunch when I came to visit. It was very good. Meat Loaf and mashed potatoes are my favorite. The people who live there said hi to me and were very nice. The staff was caring and professional. It is a home like place with lots of space and places to go. It was a nice sunny day and I saw a lot of people enjoying conversation in the courtyard and having ice tea and water! A very relaxed and warm place. It looks like they are going to get the interior updated with a remodel. I saw samples of new paint and carpet. It's already a great place. I was just happy the people who lived there were happy and well cared for. I will come back to visit soon.
