Alexis Gardens is beautiful and clean. Everybody's very friendly, and the staff is amazing. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment, but they have different floor plans, one- and two-bedrooms, and studios. They play cards, they go on outings, crafts, exercises, a chapel, they have bands come in for entertainment, bible study, and bus trips. She has a microwave in her room, but they have three meals per day provided.

Alexis Gardens was nice, but I was concerned that they only had one elevator with all these residents, and it was farther away to drive and visit her. The dining area was very nice and open, and they had a library.

Genesis Village is not as clean and as nice, and they will not leave me alone. The pool is nice, but no one is ever in it. The residents seemed to really like the place. The rooms were very small and you have to bring your own furniture.

Alexis Gardens seems like a very nice place. The person who showed me around was very helpful. The food was pretty average, but the dining area was nice. I didn't find anything all that special about it.

I liked Genesis Village and its people. It had a nice setup and it was very good. Someone sits at the desk waiting for you to come in, and I like the rooms better there. I got to meet the owner who was very nice. The person who showed me around was very helpful and answered questions I didn’t know I had. They had a lot of different activities, like card games and a pool table. I was really impressed with all of it.
