The Oaks at Whitaker Glen is Raleigh's premier continuing care retirement community providing independent living with supportive services and skilled nursing care at our 5 star healthcare center, The Oaks at Mayview. Residents are able to make a seamless transition between these levels of care all on the same beautiful campus. Because of the close proximity of our buildings, residents always have their spouse or friends close by for support as their healthcare needs change. To further enhance the services we provide, we have opened a home health office onsite and plans are underway for the addition of an assisted living facility on campus in the near future.

Management has a fundamental lack of respect for their residents. They began a year long exterior renovation with less than one weeks notice to the residents subjecting them to live in a noisy and filthy construction site for more than one year. They state that they are under a multi year multi phase expansion plan but they do not give any further info as to weather or not that means one year or ten years. If you do not mind on going construction in your golden years this might be a fit?
