Description of Falls River Village Assisted Living
Ideally located near the Falls Lake Recreational Park, Falls River Village and Falls River Court are more than just places to call home. Two communities located on the same campus, we welcome everyone who sets foot in our communities as if they were part of our extended family. Our caring staff members are always on hand to provide the extra support and care our seniors need to live life to its fullest.
Falls River Village and Falls River Court are two of many retirement apartments owned by the Senior Lifestyle Corporation. We pride ourselves on creating senior living communities that enable seniors to live healthy and fulfilling lives, and our Wellness Everydayâ„¢ program offered at every community is praised by the International Council on Active Aging.
Featured Amenities
In addition to exploring the many local attractions and amenities Raleigh has to offer, residents of Falls River Village and Court may participate in any number of on-site activities scheduled at our community each day. These activities include movie screenings, concerts, bingo and more.
Accommodations are available in studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. All apartments feature private baths with walk-in showers, kitchenettes and emergency call response systems for added safety and security. All utilities are included except phone and cable.
Available Services
At Falls River Village and Court, we recognize both the needs of our residents and as well as their desire for independence. Our personalized care plans are designed to provide just the right amount of assistance with medication and other activities of daily living. We offer transportation to appointments and shopping, and have a doctor on site once a week.
In our restaurant-style dining rooms, meals are served three times a day, all made from fresh, seasonal ingredients and designed to offer the best nutrition for seniors. We also have beauty and barber shops on-site to help our residents look their best.

My mother-in-law has been in Falls River for about 10 days. We liked that it was close to our home, and we had heard good things from other people who had parents or relatives at various times there. A doctor comes once a week on a regular schedule.

Falls River Court was very nice, pleasant, clean, and fresh. I saw a few patients dozing in the main hallway, but it's a very good place. The interesting thing about it is that it's in two separate buildings and one facility was for the general populace that needed only some assisted care. Falls River Court itself was memory care for people with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's and other memory problems. It had a whole building devoted to the memory unit, which is really nice. I was impressed by the staff because as they took me around, they knew every patient by name. On the way out, the young lady who showed me around gave me a gift box of scones that were made by their chef, and they were absolutely delicious. If they have that kind of food, then it was good.

The staff at Falls River Village was knowledgeable and helpful, but it was not the facility we needed for my mom. The rooms were nice, and the environment and everything was warm and inviting. They made you feel welcome. You could tell the residents were happy because they were actively doing stuff and not just sitting in one corner.
