We liked that The Manor was sort of a hotel line where you walk in and get checked at the desk. And we like the freedom that the residents have; we enjoyed that. The one problem that we had with it was that my mother would have been a long distance from where they would be having their meals to where her designated room would have been. The dining room was very neat, pretty and attractive. The atmosphere feels more like a hotel. The staff was very kind and answered all of our questions.

The Manor was beautiful. It's absolutely exquisite. If I had the extra $1,000 a month I would be there in a heartbeat. It had everything. It had granite countertops, lots of closets, and great wall space. It is a place to go, and it does not have a built-in meal plan. So you're paying $2,400 a month without the meals. The washer-dryer is another $45 and the TV is $60. The rooms were magnificent and big. It's like you're walking into your own home. The bottom floor had 11-foot ceilings. They had balconies, patios, and a beautiful kitchen. They also had a dining room. The 2-bedroom was absolutely exquisite. The privacy was a lot better because you would be walking into a different building. It's not like the staff is right there. They'd have to go outdoors to get to you. The food was good and the dining room staff was wonderful. They give you two choices every night for dinner.

The Manor is extremely elegant. It's a very nice place. The staff was OK. They have several different meal plans. You can either sign up for the meals or not depending on your wishes. If you do not sign up for regular meals, you can still have a meal any time you want to, but you'll be charged for it. They offer exercises and other activities. They have a common area where they gather. The day I was there they were going to have an art show in the evening, and the arts were done by the residents. The available apartments were very large. They're the largest of everything I looked at, however, The Manor was probably the most expensive place I saw.

The Manor has very large rooms. The 1- and 2-bedrooms are very spacious. They're very good. You do have to pay for all of your amenities, but they're less expensive than the other community. They give you 3 meals a day, but you have to pay for it, and they have very limited choices on their menu plan.
