Residents live in cozy, homelike apartments available in a selection of studio and one-bedroom floor plans. All apartments feature private bathrooms, in-suite climate control, plush carpeting and emergency call systems for added security. Utilities are included in the monthly rent, with cable TV and telephone services available for an additional fee.  

In between the delicious hot meals we serve in our restaurant-style dining room three times a day, residents may participate in one of the many engaging activities scheduled each day. Our full-time Activity Director plans a variety of activities focusing on the spiritual, physical, intellectual and social areas of life.

Available Services

At Morningside of Gastonia, our caring staff provide professional assistance with practical tasks such as grooming, dressing, laundry, housekeeping and taking medications. We can also help coordinate on-site health services such as hospice care, physical therapy, occupational therapy and pharmacy services.

Our Alzheimer’s/Memory Care unit is unique in its approach to helping those who are experiencing memory loss interact with those around them. We believe that it is important for those with memory loss to engage with the world around them. Our specially trained staff provides both expert care as well as companionship.
