Rooms needed upgrading and they were working on that. Food was good no complaints. Staff was good nurses always pleasant took real good care of my mama, Ladies at the front desk friendly. Our favorite person was Devin he's the Social worker, contact person what ever we needed taken care of he handled it. Such a compassionate person. He made our visits always pleasant under the circumstances. Our mama has dementia and they made our visits as normal as could be.

My mom moved into Heritage Oaks, and she seems to like it a lot. She really does seem to be very happy with the place. I think she's pretty happy with the food, she's been kind of getting adjusted, she hasn't spent as much time there as she would like.

Heritage Oaks was very lovely and fabulous, but the location didn't work. It was too far out. Everybody was friendly. It was large.

Brookdale Augusta was nice and clean, and the residents seemed happy. The rooms were clean. They had a salon, a chapel, and a movie room. The staff was nice and willing to help. It's a 1-level facility, and there were no ramps to climb up that the residents had to worry about. It's pretty much flat all through the building.

We chose Brookdale Augusta for my mother because of the price. The place is very nice. They're all expensive but Brookdale Augusta is more in line with her budget. The staff members I interacted with are very friendly. Everybody that I have ever come into contact with is very friendly. I don't have any complaints. It is very nice. I know that they have activities, like crossword puzzles and art. They'll have a Christmas party this week for the residents where family can come see them and have Christmas dinner with them. It seems like they do a lot. It is definitely a better value, but I feel like they're all high priced.
