Located in the quiet suburban town of Pittsford, just outside of Rochester and midway between Buffalo and Syracuse, Brookdale Pittsford (formerly Clare Bridge of Perinton) is a welcoming senior living community providing specialized memory care to seniors challenged by Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia in upstate New York.

Our stately building was designed to project a safe, secure and homelike environment, ideal for seniors with memory loss. All of our apartments are equipped with emergency response systems and all exterior doors have alarms to insure the safety of our residents.
At Brookdale Pittsford, our beauty parlor and barber shop provide professional quality hair care, keeping our residents looking their best. To better enjoy the fresh air and nice weather, we offer an enclosed outdoor courtyard and gardens. In addition, our family room is a great place to meet visitors and features a cozy fireplace.
Available Services
Our well-trained staff are available 24 hours a day to provide private, in-home assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dining and escorting. We also offer laundry, continence management and housekeeping services as well.
Licensed nurses regularly monitor the health of our residents, as we know that preventative care is the best way to ward off more serious conditions. Additionally, our staff receive training on an ongoing basis to remain current on the latest techniques for dementia and Alzheimer's care.

I visited this facility
Brookdale Pittsford was a lovely facility, and it would be great if my mom didn't have mobility issues. It's a wonderful facility with great staff. It is memory care, but she uses a wheelchair and the way it's laid out would be very difficult for her to get down to activities and get back and forth on her own. Although they accepted her, I think she needs more attention and more of an enhanced assisted living memory care facility. They have regular music therapists that come in and occupational therapists that work with the residents for daily living tasks, like setting the tables and folding the napkins. It helps them work through the mental processes, which keeps them alert. They had organized card games and board games to work on processing and things like that. My mother had been in a facility of the same company in Syracuse so we knew about it and it was a great placement for her. This one wasn't the right placement for my mom but for a client that fits their profile, it would be very good. The staff had very good expertise and excellent training. It's assisted living and memory care combined but it was not the enhanced facility that my mom needs because of her mobility issues.
