On the whole, this is a really good continuing care facility. The food, however, is very bad. Overcooked vegetables, bland and unseasoned protein, steam tables that render fish dishes inedible. Vegetarian options lean on cheese and carbohydrates. A vegan resident would starve to death. The pool, while attractive, is really overheated: 88 degrees.

Conifer Village at Cayuga Meadows is a brand new 55+ apartment community offering affordable energy efficient one and two bedroom apartment homes. The community offers many amenities along with breathtaking views of Cornell University and the hills of Ithaca. Nine apartments are available for those with disabilities and three apartments for hearing and visually impaired.

Preference will be given to displaced victims of a Covered Storm including but not limited to Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.

All interior and exterior maintenance is taken care of 24 hours a day. We are located one mile from the Ithaca Mall and Ithaca Regional Airport. During the summer, residents receive a complimentary membership at the Horizons Pool and Tennis Club.
