It is nice. I like the dining room and I like the meals. The staff is very respectful of the residents' privacy. It's clean and everybody is courteous; I would say it's above average. My mother needs some assistance because she has trouble getting her shoes on by herself and bathing, so they provide assistance with that. Her room is like a studio apartment, it has a refrigerator, and her own bathroom. It's like a very simple one-bedroom apartment. They have a lot of activities, they have bingo and bowling for the residents, they have exercising, and they take them on outings and other things too. They also have a small store where they can buy things like deodorant, toothpaste, and other basic essentials.

McHarrie Pointe is a beautiful location. It is considered our number 1 location for assisted living. It was summer when I filled out the application, and there was a six-month wait. It would be my first choice because it is probably a four-minute drive from my home, so it would be extremely convenient for me to have visit with my dad. They completely remodeled the place, so everything is new, clean and updated. Their dining room is beautiful. It is carpeted and it has nice small tables. There's also a baby grand piano in the dining room. When it comes to that time, McHarrie Pointe would be my first selection. I looked at one of the little apartments they had. It was nice because there was a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom; I was really impressed by that. In reference to the activities, I took their flyer. There were various activities with exercise, trips, and crafts. I didn't see a lot of staff members besides the person in the main office. The place in general is in beautiful condition.
