Nursing Homes Community in Morris Plains, New Jersey

I visited Sunrise of Morris Plains. I liked that everything was on the first floor and everyone was friendly. They have a salon, different trips and outings, and a lot of things are available for the residents to do. They offer three meals a day plus snacks. There are doctors who come in, plus they have therapies and OT available in the community. The person who gave me the tour was great and gave me a lot of information, so I have no complaints.

Sunrise of Morris Plains didn't have as much energy. It seemed a little bit more dishevelled and older. Some of the residents were complaining about the food and they were complaining about the space when I was here. It was smaller, darker, and more weathered. The person who assisted me was fantastic, very young, energetic, and someone who is determined to make a difference. It's very homey, but it's not a brand new homey. It's not as bright and not as modern. I saw the residents sitting around chitchatting, and I saw a puppy dog in there. It was a very lovely facility. There was nothing wrong with it.
