Our visit with Sunrise of Edgewater was very pleasant. We liked its location and being able to get to New York by bus from there. It was a little smaller than we would've liked because a bigger place has more opportunity to meet people that we might enjoy being with and becoming friendly with. As far as the facility, it was lovely and we could end up being in a place like that. It had a small kitchen with a microwave, but no stove. My wife would like to cook, so that was one of the negative points. There were some nice activities, but it not being a big place; they were sort of limited. There's nothing we didn't like about it except the lack of kitchen stove.

The staff at Sunrise of Edgewater was very visible and available to people. The facility itself was beautiful. The person who toured us was fantastic about answering anything I had questions about. You didn't see people just sitting around. People were actively doing things. It was very good. The dining room was very beautiful and spacious.
