Mason Valley Residence is a midsized retirement community in Western Nevada. The facility is based in Yerington, a small city in Lyon County that's home to 3,137 residents, 26.2% of seniors aged 65 and older. Seniors who enjoy natural beauty can travel just minutes outside of Yerington for various attractions, such as Carson Range, the westernmost Sierra Nevada branch.
Mason Valley Residence is an assisted living facility that houses up to 56 seniors. In addition to its 12-bed Alzheimer's Unit, the community has 34 one-bedroom and studio apartments. Mason Valley Residence keeps multiple trained staff members on duty around-the-clock to respond to residents' personal and medical needs. All of the facility's living spaces, entryways and other accommodations remain in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Mason Valley Residence's one-story layout presents no navigational challenges to residents, which helps them avoid injuries and improve their wayfinding abilities. Every apartment on campus has dual private entryways, private bathrooms, showers with mobility aids, wide picture windows and well-equipped kitchenettes. Apartment floor plans range from 384 square feet up to 576 square feet. Mason Valley Residence enriches residents' daily lives with catered local trips, laundry and housekeeping services, social activities and wellness improvement programs.
